Congratulations to President Elect Barack Obama! Thank you to everyone who went out and voted, we did it! I look forward to a reinvigorated United States. Today I was really proud to be an American, this was our most historic moment as voters and as a nation.

About megstar73

I'm a 37 year old living in the East Bay near San Pablo Bay. I have worked as a Gallery Assistant at a small community college and am a medical assistant who has trained as a phlebotomist. I need to find time in my busy schedule as the mother of a very active toddler to study and get my phlebotomist's license. Interests include cheese, exotic beverages (not the alcoholic kind), ethnic food, improving my culinary skills, bacon, reading, music of all genres and combining all of the above together with friends! Last but not least, I love being the mother of a beautiful, sweet darling little girl. How lucky am I?

  1. I know, I’m very nervous about it. But so glad that we have a fabulous new president to look forward to in January!

HOPE for a better day for all of us… ~Blessings*

  3. Megan, When I first saw this image I couldn’t help but see a skull type of shape. Their legs and the flags at the bottom are the jaw or teeth. The girls are the nasal cavity while Mr and Mrs up-reaching arms are eye sockets… What a freaky thing to jump out at me. I’ve just creeped myself out.

On a lighter note: I had so much fun voting, I brought my girls into the booth, just like my parents used to do with me.

  4. i am not american but i really felt proud for you as a nation for finally breaking a big barrier. The entire world, if not the entire universe is holding their heads up high with high hopes for a brighter future for your new president…

it’s such a great historical moment that i can’t believe i’m seeing unfold right beofre my eyes!
