Arcs and Angles

Standard

I love the simple beauty of this. The delicate feet and neck of the woman, and her elegant up-do. The simple palette and the juxtaposition of swooping arcs against straight lines and sharp angles, all of it pulled together by the blues, reds, white and gray is a delight for the eye.

About megstar73

I'm a 37 year old living in the East Bay near San Pablo Bay. I have worked as a Gallery Assistant at a small community college and am a medical assistant who has trained as a phlebotomist. I need to find time in my busy schedule as the mother of a very active toddler to study and get my phlebotomist's license. Interests include cheese, exotic beverages (not the alcoholic kind), ethnic food, improving my culinary skills, bacon, reading, music of all genres and combining all of the above together with friends! Last but not least, I love being the mother of a beautiful, sweet darling little girl. How lucky am I?

  1. this is beautiful! reminds me so much of audrey hepburn from breakfast at tiffany’s… her look, her graceful aura, and new york as a playful background!

  2. i love how this image plays with geometry…

i live pretty close to la boulange on hayes…but i have never been.

i also haven’t ventured through all parts of the east bay…any good thrift store in richmond?

  3. Ashlee, there have got to be, at least some in the general east bay area. I’m not so good at thrifting, perhaps you could be my guide (we have different shoe sizes, so that’s a good start!) I’d be happy to pick you up @ the Bart station any time (El Cerrito, Richmond is way too sketchy) Email me- megancdooley@gmail.com
